Finance and banking work demands a clear audit trail. Your WeTransfer Transfers panel logs every file delivery you've made, so you can search by name, update a transfer's title to reflect a deal stage or client matter, resend a download link to a new counterpart, or revoke access to sensitive documents the moment a transaction closes.
Keep track of all your files
When you're sending term sheets, pitch decks, compliance documents, or financial models across multiple parties and timelines, keeping track of what was sent and to whom becomes part of the job. WeTransfer gives finance and banking professionals a central panel where every past transfer is searchable and manageable without going back to your inbox. You can rename transfers to match deal phases or reporting periods, copy an existing download link and share it with a newly added stakeholder, or resend it directly without uploading anything again. Security controls are editable after sending too: add or change a password on any transfer, or restrict access to a defined list of email addresses so only the right counterparties can reach the files. When a deal falls through or documents need to be pulled from circulation, deleting a transfer cuts off the download link for everyone immediately.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
In your Transfers panel, you can search by transfer title, making it straightforward to locate a specific delivery even after weeks or months. This is why naming transfers clearly at the point of sending, whether by client name, deal name, or reporting period, pays off when you need to retrieve them quickly. If the title wasn't set when sending, you can rename any transfer directly from the panel at any time.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, you can rename a transfer, add or change a password, adjust the expiry date on active transfers, and update access restrictions, all without re-uploading the files. For banking and finance workflows where deal terms or distribution lists change frequently, this means you can tighten or update controls on a document delivery after the fact, without issuing a brand new link.
Open the transfer in your Sent panel and copy the existing download link, then share it directly with the new recipient. For email transfers, you can also resend the link to additional addresses from the same transfer. If the files are sensitive, you can set or update a password on the transfer beforehand, or use restricted access to limit downloads to a specific list of verified email addresses.
Every plan includes password protection, which requires recipients to enter a password before downloading. You can also enable restricted access, which limits downloads to a list of specific email addresses you define, so only verified counterparties can reach the files. Download tracking lets you see exactly who downloaded a transfer and when, giving you a record of document access that can be useful in regulated or audit-sensitive workflows. All of these settings can be applied or updated after a transfer has already been sent.
Deleting a transfer immediately and permanently revokes the download link, so no one, including recipients who already received it, can access the files from that point forward. This is useful in finance and banking when a deal closes, a document is superseded, or distribution needs to be cut off at a specific moment. The deletion takes effect instantly, with no grace period for recipients.
