Your Figma transfers, managed from one place

Every Figma file you've sent through WeTransfer stays in your Transfers panel, ready to act on. Search by name, update a transfer's title to match a design iteration, resend a link to a new stakeholder, or remove a file from circulation the moment a handoff is complete.

Keep track of all your files

Keeping Figma handoffs tidy doesn't end when the upload does. Your WeTransfer Transfers panel logs every file you've sent, so tracking down a specific design package, prototype export, or component library takes a quick search rather than a trawl through old messages. Once you find a past transfer, you can rename it to reflect a new design phase, copy the download link for a freshly added collaborator, or delete it outright to cut off access immediately. You can also add or swap a password on a transfer you've already sent, useful when a Figma export contains unreleased work or client-sensitive assets. Recipients can preview supported files directly in the browser before downloading, so a developer or copywriter can check what's inside a handoff package and pull only the files they actually need.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Head to the Transfers panel in your WeTransfer account and use the search bar to look up a transfer by its title. If you gave the transfer a descriptive name when you sent it, such as a project name or design phase, it will surface immediately. If not, you can scroll your Sent list chronologically and rename any transfer from there so future searches are faster.

Yes. In your Sent panel, hover over any transfer and select the option to edit its title. Renaming a transfer to match a version number, milestone, or client name keeps your list readable at a glance, especially when you're managing several iterations of the same design file across a project.

From your Transfers panel, locate the relevant transfer and copy its download link. Share that link directly with your new contact via chat, email, or wherever your team communicates. No re-uploading needed, and the original files stay exactly as they were sent. For email transfers, you can also use the forward option to resend the same transfer to new recipients.

Yes, on any active transfer you can add or change a password, restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, or delete the transfer entirely to revoke the download link for everyone. These changes take effect immediately, which makes it straightforward to protect unreleased UI work or client-confidential design files even after they've left your hands.

Recipients can preview supported file types, including images, PDFs, and video files, directly in the browser without downloading anything. For Figma exports specifically, if you've exported frames as PNGs, JPEGs, or a PDF, those will be previewable in-browser. Reviewers can also leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which makes design feedback a lot more direct.
