WeTransfer logs every transfer you send in one searchable panel, so locating a past delivery of 3D models, CAD packages, or ZIP archives takes a few keystrokes rather than a dig through old emails. From that same panel, you can rename any transfer to reflect a drawing revision or project phase, resend an existing download link to a newly added engineer or subcontractor, and adjust access settings without touching the original upload. If a file set contains sensitive specs or unreleased design data, you can add or change a password on a transfer you've already sent, or delete it entirely to cut off the link for everyone immediately. Recipients can preview supported files directly in the browser before downloading, so team members can confirm they're looking at the right version of a document or asset before pulling the full package.

Open the Transfers panel and use the search bar to look up any past transfer by title. If you gave the transfer a name when uploading, or renamed it afterward, it surfaces instantly. For engineering teams juggling multiple project phases, naming transfers clearly, such as by drawing number or revision stage, makes them much easier to locate later.
Yes. In your Transfers panel, hover over any sent transfer and click Edit title to update the name at any time. This is useful when a CAD package moves from a draft to a stamped-for-construction version, or when a ZIP of technical drawings needs to match a new project milestone. The updated title shows up in your panel and in the transfer details page.
Hover over the transfer in your Sent panel and click Copy link to grab the existing download link, then share it directly with the new contact via email or a project management tool. No re-upload needed. If you sent the original transfer by email, you can also use the Resend option to forward the link to additional recipients from the same panel.
Yes. You can add or change a password on any active transfer from the transfer's detail page, even after it's been sent. You can also enable restricted access to limit downloads to specific email addresses, which is useful when sensitive engineering documents or unreleased design files should only reach named recipients on a project team.
Deleting a transfer removes it from WeTransfer's servers immediately and revokes the download link for anyone who has it, including subcontractors or clients you previously shared it with. This gives you a clear cutoff point when a project closes, a design is superseded, or you need to ensure outdated technical files are no longer accessible.
