Every data file package you've sent lives in your Transfers panel, where you can search, rename, update settings, or share again. Whether you're tracking down a specific export, tightening access on a sensitive dataset, or passing a link to a new contact, everything you need is already there.
Keep track of all your files
Keeping tabs on shared data files often matters long after the transfer is sent — who has access, whether the files are still current, and whether the right people can still reach them. Your WeTransfer Transfers panel logs every file package you've sent, so you can search and act on past transfers without revisiting old email threads or re-uploading data. Rename any transfer to reflect an updated dataset or version so your records stay clean and searchable. If access needs to change, you can add or swap a password on a transfer you've already sent, restrict downloads to a verified list of email addresses, or delete a transfer immediately to cut the link for everyone. Recipients can preview supported file types, including spreadsheets, PDFs, and common data formats, directly in the browser before downloading, so even large or multi-file packages are easy to navigate.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Go to your Transfers panel and use the search bar to look up a transfer by its title. This is one good reason to name your transfers before sending — a clear label like a dataset name or version number makes it much faster to locate later. You can also browse your full sent history in chronological order from the same panel.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, open the transfer and update the Access Control settings. You can add or change a password, switch on restricted access to limit downloads to a specific list of email addresses, or delete the transfer entirely to immediately revoke the download link for everyone. Changes take effect right away.
Open your Transfers panel, find the transfer, and copy its download link directly from there. You can paste it into an email, chat, or document and share it with anyone. For email transfers you've already sent, you can also forward the transfer to a new recipient from the same panel, no re-upload needed.
Yes. Hover over any transfer in your Transfers panel and select the option to edit the title. Keeping transfer names aligned with dataset versions or file revisions makes your history easier to search and helps recipients know exactly which package they're looking at, both in their inbox and on the download page.
On the Free plan, transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days. On Ultimate and above, you can set a custom expiry or keep transfers active indefinitely. Recovering an expired transfer is only available on Ultimate, Teams, and Enterprise plans — files under 256 MB can be recovered for up to one year after expiry, and files over 256 MB for up to 90 days. Free users cannot recover expired transfers, so upgrading to Ultimate is the right move if you need long-term access or recovery options.
