Keep your client deliverables under control

Every document you've sent through WeTransfer stays accessible in your Transfers panel. For consultants and auditors sharing contracts, reports, and financial files, that means a clear record you can search, edit, and act on long after the original send.

Keep track of all your files

Consultants and auditors often juggle dozens of client engagements at once, and finding a specific delivery fast matters when a client follow-up can't wait. WeTransfer's Transfers panel gives you a searchable log of every file you've shared, so locating a past report or signed-off document takes seconds rather than a dig through old email threads. You can rename any entry to match a project phase or engagement code, making it easy to stay organized across multiple clients. If a new stakeholder joins an audit team or a client contact changes, you can copy an existing download link and pass it on directly, with no need to re-upload anything. For sensitive materials, a password can be added or changed on any transfer you've already sent, and deleting a transfer revokes the download link immediately for everyone who has it.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Your Transfers panel keeps a searchable record of everything you've sent through WeTransfer. You can search by transfer title, so using a client name or engagement code when labeling a transfer makes retrieval straightforward. If you didn't add a title at the time, you can still rename the entry from the panel at any point.

Yes. From your Transfers panel, you can copy the download link for any active transfer and share it directly with a new contact through email or any messaging tool. If you sent the original as an email transfer, you can also use the forward option to send it to a new recipient without touching the original upload.

You can add, change, or remove a password on any active transfer from the Transfers panel, even after it has been sent. This is useful for consulting and audit work where access to sensitive documents like financial statements or draft reports needs to be tightened after a team change or mid-engagement.

Deleting a transfer removes the files from WeTransfer's servers immediately and revokes the download link for anyone who has it. For audit professionals, this is a direct way to cut off access to a deliverable once a review cycle closes or a document is superseded by a newer version.

Yes. WeTransfer's restricted access option lets you limit downloads to a defined list of email addresses, which you can set or update from the transfer details page after sending. For consulting engagements involving confidential data, this means only named individuals at a client organization can reach the files, regardless of whether the link ends up forwarded elsewhere.
