You can rename any past transfer directly from your Transfers panel, so labeling by revision, discipline, or project phase keeps your list readable at a glance. Search by title to find a specific model package without scrolling through everything you've ever sent. Giving each transfer a clear title also helps recipients understand exactly which version they're looking at before they download.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, hover over any sent transfer and copy its download link, then share it directly with the new contact via email or chat. There's no need to re-upload the files, and the link points to the same package the original recipients received. If you sent the transfer by email, you can also resend it to new or additional recipients from the same panel.
You can add or change a password on a transfer you've already sent, restrict downloads to a specific list of verified email addresses, or delete the transfer entirely to revoke the download link for everyone. These changes take effect immediately, so if a consultant leaves a project or a file set is superseded, you can act on it right away without waiting or re-uploading a replacement.
Recipients can preview a range of file types directly in the browser, including images, PDFs, and video walkthroughs, without downloading anything first. For CAD workflows this is useful when sharing rendered images, PDF drawing sheets, or MP4 turntable animations alongside the native files. They can choose to download only what they need, and can leave comments or mark favorites on individual files within the preview.
On a free account, transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days, and expired transfers cannot be recovered. On Ultimate and above, you can set transfers to never expire and recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before you upgraded. If you cancel a paid subscription, active transfers stay online for a 28-day grace period. For long-running CAD projects where files need to stay accessible across project phases, upgrading to Ultimate means your transfers remain available for as long as you need them.
