Head to your Transfers panel and use the search bar to look up the transfer by name. If you gave the transfer a title when you sent it, that title appears in the panel and in any notification emails, making it much easier to track down a specific model pack or asset drop. You can also scan the list chronologically if the date is roughly what you remember.
Yes. Hover over any sent transfer in your Transfers panel and choose Edit title to update the name. This is handy when a model goes through several rounds of feedback and you want the label in your list to match the version you actually sent, rather than whatever placeholder name you typed in a hurry.
Open your Transfers panel, hover over the transfer, and copy the download link. You can paste that link anywhere, a chat message, an email, a shared doc, and the new recipient gets straight to the files. If the original transfer was set up as an email delivery, you can also forward it to new recipients directly from the panel without starting a fresh upload.
Yes, on any plan you can add or update a password on a transfer you've already sent, so only people who know the password can access the download. For tighter control, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, meaning only verified recipients on your list can get through. Both settings take effect immediately once you save the change in the transfer details.
Deleting a transfer removes the files from WeTransfer's servers and immediately deactivates the download link for anyone who has it. This is useful when a client relationship ends, a file is superseded by a newer version, or you simply want to make sure an old render or geometry package is no longer accessible. The deletion cannot be undone, so it is worth confirming you no longer need the files to be available before removing them.
