WeTransfer places no restrictions on file type. You can send videos, images, audio files, PDFs, design files, Office documents, 3D and CAD files, ZIP archives, and anything else you need to move. Files are sent exactly as they are, so a RAW photo, a layered Photoshop file, or a high-resolution video arrives at the other end in the same condition it left yours.
No account is needed on the receiving end. Anyone with your download link can access and download the files straight from their browser, and they can also preview images, videos, audio, and PDFs before downloading anything. Sending, however, does require a free account on your side.
There is no limit on how many people can use a download link. Once you have the link, you can paste it into a group chat, post it, or forward it to as many people as you like, and everyone can download from it. If you prefer to send files directly to someone's inbox instead, a free account supports up to 10 email recipients per transfer.
Yes, both options are available on every plan including free. You can add a password before or after sending, and recipients need it to open the transfer.
