Pretty much anything: images, videos, PDFs, audio files, design files, ZIP archives, Office documents, 3D and CAD files, and more. WeTransfer does not restrict which file types you can send, and nothing gets re-encoded or compressed along the way.
The free plan allows up to 3 GB total and up to 10 transfers per rolling 30-day window. Transfers expire after 3 days. If you regularly need more transfers, larger files, or links that stay active for longer, upgrading to Ultimate removes those constraints and adds features like custom expiry, expired transfer recovery, and a branded delivery page.
Yes. You can add a password to any transfer before or after sending, so only people with that password can get to your files. You can also restrict access to a specific email address or a list of addresses. Both options are available on free accounts and take just a few seconds to set up.
