WeTransfer does not compress or re-encode files, so a camera-original video or an unretouched RAW image reaches the other end in exactly the same condition it left yours.
No account required on the receiving end. Anyone with the download link, or anyone who receives your email transfer notification, can access and download the files straight away. Recipients can also preview images, video, audio, and PDFs in the browser before downloading, which is useful when an editor only needs a specific frame or page.
Use a link transfer: WeTransfer generates a single download URL you can paste into a press release, a newsroom Slack channel, a social post, or a mass email. There is no limit on how many people can open a link transfer. If you are sending directly to named recipients by email, a free account supports up to 10 email addresses per transfer.
