WeTransfer handles all of these from the browser without altering or compressing the files, so what your vendor or client downloads is exactly what you uploaded.
Yes. Recipients never need a WeTransfer account to open, preview, or download a transfer. They click the link or the button in the notification email and go straight to their files. You do need a free account to send, but setting one up takes under a minute.
You have two options. With a link transfer, you upload once and share the same download link with as many people as you like, no recipient limit. Alternatively, you can send directly to multiple email addresses in one go, which gives each recipient a personal notification. On a free account you can include up to 10 email recipients per transfer.
Yes, password protection is available on all plans including free. Before you send, add a password in the transfer options panel. Only recipients who have that password can open the files. You share the password with them separately, outside of WeTransfer, so the transfer email alone is not enough to gain access.
The free plan allows up to 3 GB per transfer and up to 10 transfers per month, with download links that stay active for up to 3 days. That covers a lot of day-to-day sharing, but if you need transfers to stay live longer, want to recover a link that has expired, or prefer vendors and guests to arrive on a page carrying your property's own branding and custom domain, WeTransfer Ultimate is worth considering. Ultimate removes the transfer size cap, lets you set any expiry you like including never, and adds per-transfer and full-page branding.
