Yes. Every transfer shows a preview count by default, so you can always see how many times your ZIP was opened. To see exactly who viewed it and when, enable tracked or restricted access mode before sending — this gives you a per-recipient log directly in your transfer list.
Previews do not trigger email notifications, but the view count on your transfer updates each time someone opens it. If you want a closer record, turning on access control lets you check the full per-recipient activity log at any time from your account.
Yes. Preview tracking (how many times your transfer was opened) is always on and requires no setup. Download tracking, which shows who downloaded the actual ZIP file and when, must be explicitly enabled by you before sending. Both are available on all plans.
Recipients can open your transfer in the browser and see what's inside before committing to a download. They can browse, preview supported file types within the transfer, and choose to download only what they need — handy when the ZIP contains a mix of assets.
On a free account, transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days. With a paid Ultimate plan or above, you can set a custom expiry date or leave transfers open indefinitely — they stay live until you choose to delete them. Ultimate users can also recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before upgrading.
