When you share photos through WeTransfer, view counts are on by default, no setup required. Recipients can preview images directly in the browser before downloading, and you see a running count of how many times each transfer has been opened. For more detail, switching to tracked or restricted access mode gives you a per-recipient log showing who previewed your photos and when. This makes it straightforward to gauge whether a client has looked at a proposal, a mood board, or a final delivery. You can also enable download tracking if you want to know when someone actually saves the files.

Yes. Every transfer shows a preview count from the moment it goes live, with no settings to configure. You can check it any time from your transfer list. This count reflects how many times the transfer page was opened, including in-browser previews.
Enable access control in tracked or restricted mode when creating your transfer. In tracked mode, anyone with the link can view the files, but you get a per-recipient log showing who previewed and when. Restricted mode limits access to a specific list of email addresses and gives you the same detailed log.
Yes. WeTransfer lets recipients view JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, HEIC, and several RAW formats directly in the browser. They can browse through the photos, comment on individual files, and mark favorites, then choose to download only what they need. No account is required to preview or download.
