Send font files through WeTransfer and see view activity on every transfer from day one. When a client or collaborator opens your files matters, and WeTransfer gives you that visibility without any extra configuration.
Keep count of who views your transfer
Sharing font files for client approval or a type project means knowing whether your work has actually been seen. WeTransfer records a preview count on every transfer automatically, so you can check engagement before following up. When you need a clearer picture, turning on access control shows you a per-recipient log of who previewed your transfer and at what time. You can also enable download tracking separately if you want to know who saved a copy of your fonts. Everything is organized in your transfer list, easy to check whenever you need it.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Yes. Every transfer automatically records a preview count, visible in your transfer list from the moment the link is shared. No settings to enable, no plan upgrade required, it's just there.
Switch the transfer's access mode to tracked or restricted. Once enabled, you get a per-recipient log showing exactly who previewed the files and when. This works for any transfer, including those containing font files.
Font files aren't among the formats WeTransfer can render as a browser preview. Recipients will need to download the files to open them locally. You'll still see a download count if you've enabled download tracking on that transfer.
They're separate signals. Preview tracking counts how many times the transfer page was opened and is always on. Download tracking records who actually saved the files and when, but you need to enable it explicitly before sending. For font deliveries, download tracking is often the more useful of the two.
Yes. Restricted access lets you specify one or more email addresses, and only those recipients can open the transfer. Anyone else who gets the link won't be able to view or download the files. It's a straightforward way to keep custom or licensed typefaces in the right hands.
