Yes. By default, every transfer shows a total preview count so you can see at a glance how many times it has been opened. If you want per-recipient detail, enabling access control on the transfer gives you a log showing each person who previewed your files and the exact time they did so.
Basic preview counts are on automatically for every transfer, no configuration needed. For the fuller per-recipient breakdown, you just need to enable tracked or restricted access mode before you send. It takes a few seconds and gives you a much clearer picture of who has reviewed your work.
View previews do not trigger email notifications, so you won't get an alert each time someone opens your transfer. You can check the view count and per-recipient log at any time by visiting the transfer in your account. If you also enable download tracking, you will receive a notification when a recipient actually saves the files.
Yes. Restricted access lets you limit the transfer to a specific email address or a list of email addresses, so only those recipients can open it. Anyone else who gets hold of the link will not be able to view or download the files. This is available on all plans and is especially useful for confidential design deliverables.
WeTransfer accepts any file type, including 3D and CAD formats, and sends them in their original quality with no compression. Free accounts can send up to 3 GB per transfer. On Ultimate and above, there is no per-transfer size limit, which suits the larger assemblies and project archives that CAD work often produces.
