Yes. Every transfer shows a total preview count by default. To see per-recipient detail, enable tracked or restricted access mode when sending, and WeTransfer will log who previewed the transfer and at what time. This works for all file types, including audio.
Recipients can preview MP3 and WAV files (up to 300 MB) directly in the browser, on web, iOS, and Android. They hear the audio, decide whether to download, and any play counts toward your preview total.
Yes. Preview counts are on by default and record how many times someone opened the transfer. Download tracking is separate and must be enabled by the sender before sharing. Previews do not trigger email notifications to the sender, but downloads can, if you have that option turned on.
Basic preview counts require nothing at all, they appear automatically on every transfer. For the full per-recipient log, you need to enable access control (tracked or restricted mode) before you send. Once it is on, WeTransfer records each viewer's details as they come in.
Yes. You can share a transfer link with as many people as you like, and when access control is enabled, WeTransfer tracks each recipient individually. Free accounts can send to up to 10 email recipients, while paid plans allow up to 50. Link-based sharing has no recipient limit, and the preview count covers all views across the link.
