Upload your slides and decide upfront how long the download link stays open. Once the window closes, access ends automatically, whether that's right after a pitch meeting or at the end of a long approval cycle.
Transfer expiration is in your hands
Sending a deck for review, a client pitch, or a conference session means you often want access to close once its moment has passed. WeTransfer lets you attach an expiry to your presentation transfer so the link stops working exactly when you need it to, with no manual cleanup required. Recipients can open and browse your slides directly in their browser before downloading, so they can confirm they have the right version without saving a local copy they might forget about later. Pair the expiry with password protection to add a second layer of control, or limit access to a specific list of email addresses for handoffs that need to stay tightly contained. Your presentation files arrive exactly as you built them, with no compression or formatting changes along the way.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
On a free account, transfer links stay active for up to 3 days from the moment you send. Starter plan links work the same way. If you need a deck to stay available longer, or want to set a precise cutoff date, you'll need Ultimate or above, which lets you pick any duration or keep the transfer open indefinitely.
Yes. On Ultimate and above, you can pick a calendar date for when access should end, so you can align the cutoff with a proposal deadline, a meeting date, or the end of a review period. You can also update the expiry on any active transfer from your Transfers panel if plans change after you've already sent.
Recipients can preview supported formats, including PowerPoint and PDF files, directly in the browser without downloading anything first. That means they can check they have the right deck, review individual slides, and even leave comments or mark favourites before saving anything locally.
Once the expiry date passes, the download link stops working and the files are removed from WeTransfer's servers. On Ultimate and above, you can recover an expired transfer if you had the Recoverable option enabled when sending, useful if you need to share a deck again after the original link has closed.
Yes. You can limit access to a specific list of email addresses, so even if someone else gets hold of the link, they won't be able to download the files. This works alongside expiry control, so you can use both together for presentations that are sensitive or time-limited, like pre-launch decks or confidential proposals.
