The link will stop working automatically at the end of that day, with no need to manually revoke access afterward. On a free account, links expire after a maximum of three days. With a WeTransfer Ultimate plan or above, you can set any custom window you need, from a single day to an indefinite period, which is useful for longer referral or review cycles.
Yes. Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer, and update the expiry date from the transfer details page. The change takes effect immediately, so if a recipient needs more time to access a radiology export or discharge summary, you can extend the window without re-uploading anything. If you shorten the window, the link deactivates on the new date.
