Yes. WeTransfer supports full folder uploads, and recipients download the files with the original directory structure preserved. You do not need to zip anything beforehand, and subfolders stay nested exactly as you organized them on your machine.
Before clicking Transfer, open the expiry options in the transfer window and pick your preferred end date. On a Free or Starter plan, transfers expire after a maximum of 3 days. On Ultimate and above, you can set any duration you like or keep the transfer active until you decide to delete it yourself.
Yes. Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer, and edit the expiration date from there. The change takes effect immediately, but recipients are not notified automatically, so let them know directly if the timing matters to them.
Once a transfer expires, the files are permanently removed from WeTransfer's servers and the download link goes dark. On Ultimate, Teams, and Enterprise plans, you can recover an expired transfer within set windows depending on file size, as long as the Recoverable option was enabled when the transfer was created.
Yes. You can add a password that recipients must enter before accessing the transfer, or use restricted access to lock the folder to a specific list of email addresses. Both options are available on all plans and can be configured before sending or adjusted from the transfer details page afterwards.
