When you're uploading your files, look for the expiry option in the transfer settings before clicking Transfer. Free and Starter accounts cap transfers at 3 days, while Ultimate and above let you pick any date or leave the transfer open indefinitely. You can also adjust the expiry on any active transfer later from your Transfers panel, without re-uploading anything.
Yes. Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer, and update the expiration date using the calendar picker. The change takes effect immediately, so if a tender deadline shifts or a contractor needs more time, you can extend or shorten the window without creating a new transfer. Just let your recipient know directly, as they won't receive an automatic notification.

Once a transfer reaches its expiry date, the download link stops working and the files are removed from WeTransfer's servers. Recipients can no longer access them, and no copies remain on WeTransfer's side after deletion. On Ultimate and above, the recoverable option can be enabled on a transfer so you can restore it within a set window if you need to reinstate access after the fact.
