Yes. WeTransfer transfers files without any compression, conversion, or alteration, so XLSX, CSV, ODS, and other spreadsheet formats land precisely as you uploaded them. Formulas, pivot tables, macros, and conditional formatting all stay intact. Recipients get the exact file you sent.
You can claim your subdomain from Account Settings under Brand once you're on WeTransfer Ultimate. From there you can set a page name, upload rotating backgrounds, add your logo and social links, and write a description that frames your work. The whole setup takes a few minutes and your page is live immediately.
Password protection is available on all plans, including the free tier. You set the password before sending and then share it with your recipient outside of WeTransfer, since the notification email does not include it. You can also add, change, or remove a password on an active transfer from your Transfers panel at any time.
Yes. You can enable Restricted downloads when setting up a transfer, which limits access to a list of email addresses you specify. Anyone who opens the link will need to verify their email, and access is only granted if their address matches your list. You can edit that access list after sending directly from the transfer details page.
Your branded WeTransfer page doubles as an upload portal, so clients can send files directly to you from the same address you use to send to them. They will need a free WeTransfer account to upload, but recipients downloading your transfers do not need an account. It keeps the whole exchange in one place without any additional setup on your end.
