Upgrading to WeTransfer Ultimate gives you access to the Branding section in your account, where you can claim a custom subdomain, upload a logo, add up to five rotating background images or videos, and include social links. Once your page is live, you share that address with clients and it works both as a delivery point for files you send and as a portal where others can upload materials to you. The subdomain is yours to keep and can be updated at any time.
Yes. WeTransfer Ultimate lets you add a custom background image or color and a written description to each individual transfer, separate from your overall page branding. For real estate use, that means a listing pack for a specific address can carry the property photo, a short brief, and any relevant context right on the download page, before the client opens a single file.
WeTransfer handles any file type without compression, so high-resolution property photography, 4K video walkthroughs, CAD and floor plan files, PDFs, Office documents, ZIP archives, and audio are all transferred exactly as prepared. Recipients can preview images, video, audio, and PDFs directly in the browser before downloading, which is useful when a client wants to check a virtual tour or floor plan without pulling down the full package.
Your branded page also works as an upload portal. Anyone with a verified WeTransfer account can visit your subdomain and send files directly to you, whether that is a photographer submitting a shoot, a surveyor delivering a report, or a client returning signed documents. You receive an email notification when something arrives, and the upload shows up in your Received panel.
WeTransfer lets you restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only recipients on that list can open the transfer after verifying their identity. You can also add a password to any transfer as an extra layer of protection, and that password must be shared with the recipient outside of WeTransfer. Both options are available on all plans, including Free, and can be set or updated from your Transfers panel even after a transfer has been sent.
