For deliveries meant for one set of eyes, you can lock transfers with a password or restrict downloads to specific email addresses.

You get a branded WeTransfer page at your own subdomain, styled with up to five rotating background images or videos, your logo, a custom description on each delivery, and links to your social profiles. When a client opens your link, the first thing they see is your visual identity, not a generic file-sharing screen. WeTransfer Ultimate includes the subdomain, branding controls, and per-transfer customization as part of the plan.
Yes. WeTransfer transfers every file in its original state, with no re-encoding, no compression, and no resolution loss. RAW formats including ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, and others, as well as 4K MOV and MP4 files, arrive exactly as you exported or shot them. On Ultimate, there is no per-transfer size cap, so full shoot deliveries go through in a single transfer.
Your branded WeTransfer page also works as a receiving portal where clients can upload contracts, mood boards, raw footage, or any other files directly to you. The person uploading does need a free WeTransfer account to send files through your page, but they do not need a paid plan. You receive an email notification each time someone sends something through.
You can add a password to any transfer before sending, and the password is never included in the download notification, so you share it with your client separately. Alternatively, you can restrict access to specific email addresses, meaning only verified recipients on your list can download the files. Both options are available on all WeTransfer plans, including Free.
Recipients can preview supported image formats, video, audio, and PDFs directly in the browser without downloading anything first, letting clients review selects before committing to a full download. From the preview, they can leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which makes it easy to flag hero shots or request changes. No WeTransfer account is required to preview, comment, or mark favorites.
