On WeTransfer Ultimate, go to Account Settings and claim a subdomain of your choice. From there you can upload a logo, add up to five rotating background images or videos, and set social links so the page reflects your firm's identity. Once your branded page is live, any transfer you send arrives from that address rather than a generic wetransfer.com link.
Yes. WeTransfer transfers files without compression or re-encoding of any kind, so Excel workbooks, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, ZIP archives, and every other format common in finance arrive exactly as they left your machine. Formulas, embedded charts, tracked changes, and data structures are all preserved.
You can restrict a transfer to a specific list of email addresses, meaning only people on that list can access the files after verifying their identity. Alternatively, you can add a password that recipients must enter before downloading. Both options are available on all plans and can be set before sending or adjusted afterward from your Transfers panel.
Your branded WeTransfer page doubles as an upload portal, so clients and counterparties can send files directly to you without any extra setup on your end. They do need a free WeTransfer account to upload, but there is no cost or subscription involved for them. Files they send appear in your Received panel and are available for review from your account.
For email transfers, your Transfers panel shows a status indicator next to each recipient's address and logs the exact date and time of their download. If you send via a shareable link, you can enable tracked downloads, which requires recipients to verify their email address before accessing the files and notifies you each time someone downloads, giving you a clear record of who received what and when.
