WeTransfer Ultimate lets you claim a personal subdomain and configure a branded page around it, with your logo, rotating backgrounds, social links, and a project description that gives context before anyone downloads a file. CAD files, 3D models, ZIP archives, and any other technical format you work with transfer exactly as exported, with no compression and no alteration to the original file. Recipients can preview supported files directly in the browser, leave comments on individual items, and mark their favorites without needing to create an account. Because your branded page doubles as an upload portal, clients and collaborators can also send files back through the same address, keeping every project exchange in one coherent place.

Yes. WeTransfer transfers files without any compression or re-encoding, so DWG, DXF, RVT, STEP, IGES, and any other CAD or 3D format you work with arrives exactly as you exported it. No data is stripped, no resolution is reduced, and the file structure stays intact. Recipients get the same file you uploaded.
You need a WeTransfer Ultimate subscription. Once you're on Ultimate, go to Account Settings and claim your subdomain under the Branding section. From there you can add a logo, upload up to five rotating background images or videos, set a custom page description, and add social links. Your page is live immediately and ready to share with clients.
Yes. Beyond your main branded page, each individual transfer can carry its own background image or color and a project-specific description. This is useful when you want a site package, a structural set, or a specific phase of work to feel like a considered handoff rather than a generic file drop. The per-transfer customization is available on Ultimate and above.
Your branded page also works as a client upload portal, so anyone who visits your subdomain can send files directly to you without any extra setup on their end. Uploaders do need a free WeTransfer account to send files through your page, but they don't need a paid plan. You receive an email notification when something arrives, and the files appear in your Received panel.
Yes. When creating a transfer you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only verified recipients can download. You can also enable tracked downloads, which require anyone with the link to verify their email before accessing the files, and you'll see exactly who downloaded and when. Both options are available on all plans, including Ultimate, and can be managed from your transfer details page after sending.
