Yes. Every transfer you send appears in your Transfers panel with a downloaded or not-yet-downloaded status. For email transfers, each recipient gets their own individual checkmark that updates the moment they download, along with the exact date and time, so you know precisely who has your presentation and who still needs a nudge.
Basic download tracking is available to all accounts and works without any setup. If you want detailed per-download notifications, including who opened a link-based transfer, you can enable Access Control before sending. This prompts anyone who opens your presentation link to verify their email address first, and sends you a notification each time a download occurs.
Yes. When you enable Restricted downloads before sending, you add a list of approved email addresses. Anyone who opens the link must verify their email, and access is only granted if they match your list. This is useful for proposals, board decks, or confidential materials you want to keep out of unintended hands.
WeTransfer sends files in their original format without re-encoding or altering them, so a PowerPoint, Keynote, or PDF deck arrives exactly as you uploaded it. Recipients can also preview supported file types, including PDFs and Office documents, in-browser before downloading, which can speed up review on the client side.
From your Transfers panel, you can see which recipients on an email transfer have not yet downloaded. Rather than re-uploading, you can resend the download link to the same recipients directly from the panel, or copy the link and drop it into an email or message yourself. This keeps your follow-up targeted without creating a whole new transfer.
