If you want a more explicit record, turning on Access Control before you send means anyone opening your link must verify their email address first, and you get a notification each time a download occurs. For proprietary or licensed typefaces where access needs to be tightly controlled, Restricted downloads lets you tie the transfer to a specific list of approved addresses, so the files reach only the intended recipients.

Open your Transfers panel and find the transfer you sent. Each email transfer shows a per-recipient status, so you can see whose download is confirmed and whose is still pending. For link transfers, a general downloaded or not yet downloaded status is shown for the transfer as a whole.
Basic download status is recorded automatically for every transfer, with no setup needed. If you want more detailed tracking, including an email notification each time someone downloads and a timestamped record of who accessed the files, you can enable Access Control in the transfer settings before you send.
Yes. Before sending, enable Restricted downloads under Access Control and add the email addresses you want to permit. Anyone who opens the link must verify their email address, and access is only granted if they match your approved list. This is useful when delivering licensed or proprietary typefaces that shouldn't circulate beyond the intended recipients.
WeTransfer sends files in their original format without re-encoding or modifying the data, so your OTF, TTF, WOFF, or any other font format reaches the recipient exactly as you uploaded it. When multiple files are downloaded at once, they are packaged into a zip using lossless compression, which does not alter the files themselves.
You can upload an entire folder and WeTransfer preserves the original folder structure for the recipient when they download. Download tracking works the same way regardless of whether you send individual files or a folder, so you can confirm delivery just as you would with any other transfer.
