For email deliveries, each recipient has an individual download status that updates the moment they collect the files, and hovering over the checkmark shows the exact date and time. For link transfers, the panel shows whether the files have been downloaded at least once.
Basic status tracking is available to all users by default, no setup needed. If you want more detail, such as email-verified download confirmations and timestamped notifications, enable Access Control in the transfer settings before you send. That option is not retroactive, so it needs to be set before the transfer goes out.
Yes. Restricted downloads, available on all plans, lets you specify a list of email addresses before sending. Anyone who opens the link is asked to verify their email, and access is only granted if their address matches your list. It is the most direct way to ensure a dataset, financial model, or confidential report reaches only the intended recipients.
