Yes. Recipients can open XLS, XLSX, CSV, ODS, and other supported spreadsheet formats directly in the browser preview without downloading anything. Once they have the file open, they can leave comments on individual files in the transfer, and you receive an email notification each time a new comment is posted.
Yes. Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer detail page, scroll to the Extra settings section, and adjust the comment setting from there. Disabling comments hides existing ones from recipients but does not delete them, so if you re-enable comments later they come back.
Yes. From your Transfers panel, hover over the transfer and click Edit title, or open the transfer detail page and select Edit title below the current heading. You can also add or update a description from the same page. The changes take effect straight away, and recipients will see the updated title on the download page.
Yes. Anyone with access to the transfer preview can mark individual files as favorites while they are reviewing. This gives reviewers a quick way to flag the specific spreadsheets or tabs they want to highlight, and it sits alongside any comments they leave on the same files.
You can add or update a password on any active transfer from the transfer detail page, meaning only recipients who know the password can access the files. If you want tighter control, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses from the same page, so only named people can open and comment on the spreadsheet. Both options are available on every plan and take effect immediately.
