Yes. Recipients can open the transfer in their browser and leave comments on individual files, including images and PDFs, without downloading a single file or creating a WeTransfer account. They just need the transfer link, and their feedback attaches directly to the file it refers to. You receive an email notification each time a new comment is posted.
WeTransfer supports in-browser preview for JPEGs, PNGs, PDFs, MP4 and MOV video files, MP3 and WAV audio, and a wide range of document formats. That covers most real estate workflows: listing photos, virtual tour videos, floor plan PDFs, inspection reports, and presentation decks. Recipients can preview each file before downloading and comment on the ones that need attention.
Go to your Transfers panel, open the transfer, scroll to Extra settings, and expand the Comments section to change the setting. Disabling comments hides existing ones from viewers but does not delete them, so re-enabling restores everything. The change takes effect immediately with no need to resend the transfer.
Yes. From the transfer detail page you can rename the transfer and update its description at any time after sending. This is useful when a deal progresses and you want the transfer name to reflect a revised address, an updated offer stage, or a new document version, without asking anyone to open a new link.
WeTransfer gives you two access control options you can enable before or after sending. Tracked downloads require any recipient to verify their email before accessing the files, and you see exactly who downloaded and when. Restricted access goes further, letting you specify a list of email addresses so only those people can open the transfer at all. Both options are available on all plans and can be adjusted from the transfer detail page after sending.
