Present, share, and collect feedback in one place

WeTransfer lets you send presentations and invite recipients to comment on each slide or file directly in the browser. No downloads needed on their end, and you keep full control of every transfer setting from your account after sending.

Collaborate on every transfer

Collecting notes on a shared presentation usually scatters feedback across reply-all threads, sticky-note screenshots, and chat messages with no clear link to the actual slide. WeTransfer keeps comments attached to the specific file they belong to: anyone with access to your transfer can open PowerPoint files, Keynote exports, and PDFs in the browser preview and leave feedback on individual files, no account required on their side. You get an email notification each time a new comment arrives, so feedback never goes unnoticed. If the brief changes or the deck gets a new version number, you can update the transfer title, description, and comment settings from the transfer detail page whenever you like. Presentations containing confidential material can be locked with a password or restricted to a named list of email addresses, either before the transfer goes out or at any point afterward.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Yes. Anyone with access to your transfer can open supported presentation files in the browser preview and leave comments on individual files without downloading anything. Comments are file-level, so feedback stays tied to the exact file it refers to. Recipients do not need a WeTransfer account to comment, just a name and email address if they are not logged in.

WeTransfer supports in-browser preview for PowerPoint files (PPT and PPTX), PDFs, and other common document formats. Recipients can view the files directly and leave comments without downloading. For formats outside the supported list, recipients can still download the file and comment using the tools they already have.

Yes. WeTransfer sends you an email notification each time a new comment is posted on a file in your transfer, so you know straight away when a reviewer has weighed in. You can revisit the transfer detail page at any time to read all comments together in context.

Yes. The transfer detail page in your account lets you rename the transfer, edit the description, and adjust comment preferences at any point after sending, whether the link went out an hour ago or weeks ago. Changes take effect immediately for anyone opening the transfer link.

Yes. Anyone viewing the transfer preview can mark individual files as favorites, which is useful when a stakeholder wants to flag specific slides or versions for your attention. Favorites are visible to you in the preview alongside any comments left on those files.
