No. WeTransfer transfers every file in its original state with no re-encoding, flattening, or quality changes applied. Your PSD or PSB arrives on the other end with all layers, masks, smart objects, and embedded assets intact, exactly as you saved it from Photoshop.
Yes. WeTransfer supports whole folder uploads and preserves the original directory structure when the recipient downloads. If your project references external files or organizes assets across nested folders, the layout your recipient gets will match what you dragged in.
Free accounts support transfers up to 3 GB, which covers most single PSD files. On Ultimate and above, there is no per-transfer size cap, so you can send multi-gigabyte PSB files or full project folders without splitting them up.
PSD and PSB files are supported in WeTransfer's in-browser preview, so recipients can look through the transfer before deciding what to download. They can also leave comments on individual files and mark favorites, which is useful when a client is reviewing multiple creative options.
