Drag your photos straight onto the WeTransfer homepage and the upload begins before you've done anything else. Choose a shareable link or send directly to an inbox, and whoever receives them can download without creating an account.
Uploading made effortless
Uploading photos with WeTransfer starts with a single drag onto the homepage, nothing to configure before your files start moving. Every image leaves your computer exactly as it is, full resolution, original color profile, no resampling or re-encoding along the way, whether you're sending JPEGs, PNGs, TIFFs, HEICs, or large RAW files from a camera. If you're sharing a batch for client review, recipients can open an in-browser preview and browse individual shots before deciding what to download, so nobody has to pull down a full set just to check a few frames. You can send to one person or many using a direct email, or generate a single link to drop into a message, a gallery post, or anywhere else. For photos you want to keep private, adding a password or restricting access to specific addresses takes only a moment from the same screen.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

Go to wetransfer.com, then drag your photos from your desktop or file browser directly onto the transfer window. The upload starts as soon as the files land on the page. From there you can enter a recipient's email address for direct delivery or switch to a shareable link you can copy and send anywhere.
You can drag in as many photos as you like in one go, including an entire folder. Folder uploads preserve the original folder structure, so recipients download everything with the same organization you sent. If you're on a free account, total transfer size across a rolling 30-day window is capped at 3 GB; upgrading to Ultimate removes the per-transfer size limit entirely.
No. WeTransfer sends files exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, resampling, or resolution changes. A 42-megapixel RAW file or a full-resolution TIFF arrives at the other end byte-for-byte identical to what you uploaded. The only packaging that happens is a lossless zip when multiple files are bundled for download, which does not alter any of the image data.
Yes. Recipients can open an in-browser preview for JPEGs, PNGs, GIFs, TIFFs, HEICs, PSDs, and a range of RAW formats including ARW, NEF, CR2, DNG, and others. The preview displays at a slightly lower resolution than the original so they can browse the set, pick the files they actually want, and download only those. They can also leave comments on individual images directly from the preview view.
No. Anyone who receives your transfer link or notification email can download the photos without signing up or logging in. An account is only needed on the sending side, and creating one is free. This makes WeTransfer practical for sharing with clients, collaborators, or anyone who just needs the files without any extra steps.
