On the Mac app, you can drag files straight onto the menu-bar icon and the download link is copied to your clipboard automatically when the upload finishes.
Yes. WeTransfer supports folder uploads, and the folder structure you drag in is preserved exactly. Recipients download the files with the same hierarchy you started with, so nothing needs to be renamed or reorganized at the other end.
No. WeTransfer sends every file exactly as you dragged it in, with no re-encoding, compression, or format conversion applied. This holds for everything from 4K video and RAW image files to layered design documents and audio masters. What you drag in is precisely what the recipient downloads.
You can drag in as many files as you like in a single transfer, and the free plan covers up to 3 GB total per transfer with up to 10 transfers per rolling 30-day window. If you regularly send larger batches or individual files that exceed that threshold, upgrading to Ultimate removes the per-transfer size cap entirely and gives you unlimited transfers.
