When you're sending listing brochures, contracts, or market reports to buyers and sellers, the file handoff is part of the experience. WeTransfer Ultimate lets you add a custom background image and a written description to each individual transfer, so clients open a presentation that feels like yours, not a bare download page.
Your transfers, personalized
Real estate professionals send PDFs constantly, from property brochures and disclosure packets to offer summaries and closing documents, and each one is an opportunity to reinforce your professionalism. With WeTransfer Ultimate, you can dress up each transfer with a background image that reflects your agency or personal brand and a description that gives context before the client even clicks download. Buyers and sellers can open and read PDFs directly in their browser without downloading anything first, which keeps the experience clean and friction-free. Nobody on the receiving end needs a WeTransfer account, so there is nothing standing between your branded link and your client. When your whole team needs to send with shared branding and one billing account, the Teams plan brings that same capability across everyone in your office.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Both options exist, but per-transfer customization is its own distinct feature available on WeTransfer Ultimate and above. For each individual transfer, you can set a unique background image and add a description, so a listing brochure can look different from a contract package or a market report. This is separate from your broader branded WeTransfer page, which carries your logo and custom subdomain across everything you send.
No account is needed on the receiving end. Clients click the link, see your branded transfer page, and can preview the PDF directly in their browser before deciding to download. The only requirement for sending is that you have a WeTransfer account, which gives you access to transfer management, branding options, and tracking.
WeTransfer sends files in their original format with no alterations, so a PDF you upload is the exact file your client receives. There is no re-encoding, no compression, and no resolution changes, which matters when you're sharing brochures with high-quality property photography or legally formatted contracts that need to print correctly.
You can restrict access to a transfer so that only people on a list of email addresses you specify can open it. When a recipient follows your link, they verify their email and access is granted only if they match your list. You can also add a password to any transfer as an extra layer of protection, and both options are available across all WeTransfer plans.
On the free plan, transfers expire after up to 3 days, which is often too short for a property transaction timeline. With WeTransfer Ultimate, you can set a custom expiry, including keeping a transfer available indefinitely until you choose to delete it. Ultimate also lets you recover expired transfers, including ones that expired before you upgraded, so a client who comes back weeks later to re-download a closing document doesn't leave you scrambling to re-upload.
