When sending a transfer on WeTransfer Ultimate, you can upload a background image and write a short description before the link goes out. That background and message are what your client sees the moment they open the download page, so it is worth choosing something that reflects your style or the project you are handing off.
Not at all. WeTransfer sends files exactly as you uploaded them, with no compression, no resizing, and no changes to color profiles or metadata. Whether you are delivering RAW files, high-resolution TIFFs, or export-ready JPEGs, what your client downloads is exactly what you packed.
Yes. Recipients can preview images directly in the browser without downloading anything first. They can also comment on individual photos and mark favorites, which makes the review process much simpler when you are sending a large selection for a client to choose from.
If you share your transfer as a link, there is no recipient limit at all. Anyone with the link can download. If you send it directly by email, paid plans support up to 50 recipients per transfer, which is more than enough for most client deliveries.
On WeTransfer Ultimate, transfers do not expire unless you delete them yourself. That means your client can revisit the link a month later and still find everything exactly as you sent it. If you ever need to pull a delivery down early, you can delete the transfer at any time to immediately revoke access.
