No. WeTransfer sends files exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, no compression that modifies data, and no format changes. A multi-tab financial model or a precisely formatted client report arrives on the other end in the same state you uploaded it, which matters when formulas, formatting, and data integrity are non-negotiable.
Yes. WeTransfer's restricted access feature lets you specify one or more email addresses, and only recipients whose email matches your list can download the files after verifying their identity.
