Recipients can open your link without creating a WeTransfer account, so there's nothing standing between them and the files. Each transfer gets its own customization on WeTransfer Ultimate. You can choose a different background image and write a unique description for every data delivery you send, so a financial report and a research dataset can each have their own look and context.
WeTransfer handles any file type, including CSVs, Excel spreadsheets, JSON files, XML, SQL exports, ZIP archives, and more. Files are delivered exactly as you uploaded them, with no changes to the format or contents.
On a free account, transfers are capped at 3 GB. With WeTransfer Ultimate, there's no transfer size limit, so you can send large datasets, database exports, or bulky archive files without splitting anything up.
WeTransfer gives you a couple of ways to control access. You can lock a transfer with a password so only recipients who have it can open the link, or you can restrict access to specific email addresses so only those people can download the files.
On WeTransfer Ultimate, transfers don't expire unless you delete them yourself, so clients can return to the link days, weeks, or months later and download the files again. If a transfer has already expired, Ultimate also lets you recover it retroactively.
