With WeTransfer Ultimate, per-transfer customization works at the individual transfer level. You can give each delivery its own background image or color and a written description, so a pitch deck going to one client looks different from a final asset pack going to another. Your overall branded page and email settings apply account-wide, but the per-transfer layer lets you tailor each handoff to its specific audience.
WeTransfer supports virtually every file format used in advertising and marketing work, including high-resolution images, 4K video, PDFs, design files, audio, Office documents, and ZIP archives. Files are transferred without any compression or re-encoding, so a retouched TIFF, an uncompressed export from your editing suite, or a brand guidelines PDF all arrive with the same fidelity they had when you uploaded them. Nothing is altered in transit.
Recipients can preview images, video, audio, and PDFs directly in the browser before downloading anything, with no account required. This means a client can scroll through a full creative batch, mark favorites, and leave comments on individual files, then choose to download only what they need. Nobody on the receiving end has to sign up, so there is nothing between your branded link and the work.
When creating a transfer, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only the people you name can open the files after verifying their identity. You can also enable download tracking to see exactly who accessed the transfer and when. Both options are available across all plans and can be adjusted even after a transfer has been sent.
Beyond per-transfer customization, Ultimate includes a fully branded WeTransfer page with a custom subdomain, your logo, up to five rotating background images or videos, branded notification emails, and social links, which together function as a client-facing portal for receiving files. Transfers on Ultimate never expire unless you delete them, and you can recover any expired transfer retroactively. The plan also includes malware scanning, unlimited transfers, and up to 2 TB of storage.
