Collect and share group photos in one place
When you want to collect photos from multiple people in one place, a shared WeTransfer Album keeps everything organized and accessible. The album owner sets a title, picks an expiry date, and shares the album via link, QR code, or native share sheet — and anyone with that link can browse the photos straight from their browser. Contributing is just as simple: anyone with a free WeTransfer account can upload their own photos directly to the album. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, and BMP, so photos from phones and cameras alike are welcome. The album owner stays in control throughout, with the ability to update the title, swap the cover image, adjust the expiry date, and remove any photo in the collection.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
To add photos to an album someone has shared with you, open the album link and sign in with your free WeTransfer account. Once you're in, you can upload photos directly from your device. Note that only one contributor can upload at a time, so if someone else is currently uploading, you may need to wait a moment.
No account is needed to view an album. Anyone with the link can browse all the photos straight from their browser, on any device. You only need a free WeTransfer account if you want to upload photos yourself.
Yes. WeTransfer Albums support HEIC and HEIF files alongside JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, BMP, TIF, and TIFF, so photos from iPhones and most other devices upload without any conversion needed. The maximum file size for your upload follows the limits of your WeTransfer plan.
It can. Albums support MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV, and 3GP video formats alongside photos, so you can mix stills and clips in the same collection. Other file types, such as documents or audio files, are not supported in albums.
Yes, you can delete any photo you added to an album. The album owner can remove any photo in the collection regardless of who uploaded it. Keep in mind that deletions are permanent for everyone, so there is no way to recover a photo once it has been removed.
