Collect and share group photos in one place

When you want a group of people to see and download a collection of photos together, you need something simpler than a shared cloud folder with permission requests. Upload your images to WeTransfer once and everyone gets a link that opens a clean, browsable preview on any device. JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD, and RAW files including ARW, NEF, DNG, CR2, and CR3 all come through exactly as shot, with no re-encoding or resolution loss. Viewers can scroll through every photo in the browser, leave comments on individual shots, mark their favorites, and download only the specific images they want. If your album is meant for a particular group, you can add a password or tie access to a list of specific email addresses before you share the link.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

WeTransfer accepts all common photo formats including JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, GIF, and PSD, as well as a wide range of RAW files such as ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, DNG, RAF, RW2, and ORF. Every file lands with the recipient exactly as it left your camera or phone, with no compression, re-encoding, or resolution loss. You can also upload entire folders and recipients will receive the same folder structure you sent.

Yes. Anyone with your link can open a browser preview of every photo in the transfer before downloading anything. From there they can leave comments on individual images, mark favorites, and choose to download only the specific shots they want rather than pulling the entire collection at once. No app or account is needed to view, comment, or select files.

You have two options before sharing your link. You can add a password to the transfer so only people you give the code to can open the album. Alternatively, you can restrict access to a list of specific email addresses, meaning anyone who opens the link has to verify their email and will only be let through if they match your list. Both options can be set during upload or adjusted afterwards from your Transfers panel.

No. Anyone you send the link to can open the album, preview the photos, and download what they need straight from their browser without signing up for anything. An account is only required to send transfers or upload files through a request link, not to receive them.

You can create a file request link and share it with everyone in your group. Anyone who receives it can upload their photos directly to you without needing to coordinate email attachments or shared drives. You get a notification each time someone uploads, and all the submitted photos appear in your Received panel. Note that uploaders need a free WeTransfer account to send files through a request link.
