Gemeinsames Fotoalbum leicht gemacht

Uploading photos and sharing them with a group shouldn't require everyone to join a platform first. With WeTransfer, you upload your collection once, share a single link, and anyone can browse, comment on, and download individual shots straight from their browser.

Collect and share group photos in one place

When you want to share a set of photos with friends, family, or a client, WeTransfer gets out of the way and lets the images do the talking. Upload your photos as a single transfer and share the link wherever your group already is, whether that's a chat thread, an email, or a message app. Recipients can open a full browsable preview in their browser, leave comments on individual shots, mark their favorites, and save only the images they actually want, without pulling down the whole collection. Every format you shoot in travels without compression or quality loss, including JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PSD, and RAW files like ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, and DNG. When the collection is personal, you can add a password to the link or restrict access to specific email addresses before anyone opens it.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Anyone with the link can open your transfer directly in a browser, no account, no app, and no sign-up required. They'll see a full gallery preview where they can browse individual images, leave comments, and choose which photos to download. It works on desktop, iOS, and Android, so there's no friction no matter what device your group is on.

Yes. The in-browser preview lets recipients click through individual images and download only the ones they want, rather than pulling the whole set as a zip. They can also star their favorites and leave comments on specific shots, which makes it easy for a group to coordinate around the images that matter most.

No. WeTransfer sends files in their original quality with no re-encoding, no resolution loss, and no compression. That applies to every format you might be working with: JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PSD, and RAW formats including ARW, NEF, CR2, CR3, and DNG all come through exactly as you shot them.

Yes, you can create an upload request and share the link with your group. Anyone who opens it can upload photos directly to you. A free WeTransfer account is needed to upload files through a request, and you'll get an email notification each time someone sends something through.

You have two options. Adding a password means only people who know it can access the transfer, and the password isn't included in the notification email so you share it separately. Alternatively, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, so only those people can open the link after verifying their identity. Both options are available on all plans and can be set before or after sending.
