Partage de photos en groupe, sans friction

Sharing photos with a group shouldn't mean everyone joining the same platform. Upload your photos to WeTransfer, share one link, and let people browse, comment, and download directly in their browser — no app, no account, no extra steps required.

Collect and share group photos in one place

When you want to share a collection of photos with family, friends, or collaborators, WeTransfer keeps things simple: upload once, share a link, and everyone can view a full browsable preview without needing to sign up for anything. Your images arrive exactly as you shot them — JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PSD, and RAW formats like DNG, NEF, ARW, CR2, and CR3 all come through without any compression, re-encoding, or resolution change. Each recipient can scroll through the whole set, star the shots they love, leave comments pinned to individual images, and save only the specific photos they want rather than downloading everything at once. If you want to gather photos from other people rather than just send your own, you can create an upload request link and anyone can drop files straight to you. For moments when privacy matters, a password or a restricted access list lets you decide exactly who can open the link.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Upload your photos to WeTransfer and choose the link transfer option. Once your files are uploaded, you get a single shareable URL you can send via message, email, or any chat app. Anyone who opens the link can preview the full collection in their browser, with no account needed on their end.

Yes. When you enable comments on your transfer, viewers can click on any individual image in the preview and leave a comment directly on it. They can also mark their favorite shots. You receive an email notification each time someone adds a comment, so it works naturally as a lightweight review or selection round.

WeTransfer never re-encodes, resizes, or compresses your images. Your original files are uploaded and delivered exactly as they are, whether that's a high-resolution JPEG, a TIFF, a HEIC from an iPhone, or a RAW file in any common format like DNG, NEF, ARW, CR2, or CR3. Previews display at a slightly reduced resolution so recipients can decide what to download, but the files themselves are always full quality.

You can create an upload request link from your WeTransfer account. Share that link with anyone, and they can upload their photos directly to you without needing a WeTransfer account to contribute. You get an email notification each time someone sends files, and everything lands in your Received tab ready to view and download.

Two options are available on all plans. You can add a password to your transfer before sharing the link, so only people who know the password can open it. Alternatively, you can restrict access to a specific list of email addresses, meaning only those exact recipients can view and download the photos after verifying their email. Both settings can be applied before you share or adjusted after the transfer is sent.
