Collect and share group photos in one place
Collecting photos from a group usually means juggling several apps, chasing people for their files, and hoping everyone can actually open what you send. WeTransfer Albums brings it into one place: create an album with a title and an expiry date, share the link, and your audience can view every photo instantly without downloading anything or signing up. Anyone who wants to contribute their own shots just needs a free WeTransfer account to upload. You keep full ownership as the album owner, with the ability to update the title, change the cover image, and remove any photo at any time. Members can manage their own uploads, but only the owner can delete the album entirely.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
No account is needed to view an album. Anyone with the link can open it and browse all the photos straight from their browser on any device. Only contributors who want to upload their own photos need a free WeTransfer account.
Albums are collaborative: contributors with a free WeTransfer account can upload their own photos to the shared album. Keep in mind that only one person can upload at a time, and each contributor's maximum file size follows their own plan. Members can also remove photos they added themselves, but cannot touch anyone else's uploads.
Albums support JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIF, TIFF, HEIC, and HEIF. Albums are designed for visual content, so documents, audio files, and archives are not supported. If you need to share mixed file types, a regular WeTransfer transfer handles those instead.
Yes. WeTransfer Albums supports MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV, and 3GP video files alongside photos. It is a good way to keep a group event's full visual story, stills and clips, in one shared place.
When you create an album you set an expiry date. Once that date passes, the album is no longer accessible to viewers. You can update the expiry date at any time from your account as the album owner, so there is no need to create a new album if plans change.
