If you want to keep the gallery private, you can lock it with a password or restrict access to specific email addresses before you share the link.

Yes. Anyone who opens a WeTransfer link can scroll through every image in a full in-browser preview without downloading anything first. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC, PSD, and a wide range of RAW files, so your edited and unedited shots are all previewable. Clients can then download the whole set or pick individual images, and they can comment on specific photos and mark their favorites to help with selection.
WeTransfer sends files exactly as they are. There is no re-encoding, no compression, and no resolution loss, so a full-size TIFF or an unedited RAW file from your camera arrives at the other end in exactly the same state it left yours. The preview your client sees in the browser is displayed at a slightly lower resolution to load quickly, but the file they actually download is the original.
You can create an upload request from your WeTransfer account and share the link with any photographer who needs to send you files. Anyone with the link can upload directly to you, and you receive an email notification as soon as files arrive. The files land in your Received tab, ready to download. Note that uploaders need a free WeTransfer account to submit files through a request.
You have two options for keeping a gallery private. You can add a password to the transfer before sharing, so only people you give the password to can open it. Alternatively, you can enable restricted access and provide a specific list of email addresses, meaning only those individuals can download after verifying their address. Both options are available on all plans and can be set up in seconds before you hit send.
On a Free account, transfer links are available for up to 3 days from the moment they are sent. On an Ultimate plan, you can set a custom expiry date or keep the transfer active indefinitely, which is far more practical for a wedding gallery that clients and family members may want to revisit weeks or months after the day. You can also change the expiry date of an active transfer at any time from your Transfers panel.
