Upload your photos to WeTransfer, then switch to link transfer mode to get a shareable URL. Paste that link into a group chat, email, or anywhere else your group communicates, and anyone who opens it can browse the album and download what they want. No one needs a WeTransfer account to view or save the photos.
Yes. You can create a file request, which gives you a unique upload link you share with the group. Anyone with the link can send their photos directly to you, and you'll get an email notification each time someone uploads. Note that uploaders need a free WeTransfer account to submit files through a request.
No, WeTransfer never re-encodes or compresses your images. JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PSD, and RAW formats like DNG, NEF, ARW, and CR2 all land with recipients exactly as they were on your camera or phone, full resolution included.
You can add a password to the transfer before sharing so only people who have it can open the link. If you want tighter control, use restricted access to limit downloads to a specific list of email addresses. Both options are available on all plans and can be set before you send or adjusted afterwards from your Transfers panel.
On a free account, transfers are available for up to 3 days from when they were sent. On an Ultimate plan, you can set a custom expiry or keep the transfer active indefinitely so latecomers can still grab their copies weeks after graduation day. Ultimate users can also recover expired transfers, so nothing is permanently lost if a link runs out before everyone has downloaded.
