Collect and share group photos in one place
Planning a birthday means photos end up scattered across phones, group chats, and email threads. A WeTransfer Album pulls them into one place, so every guest can contribute their favorite moments and browse the full collection together. You create the album, give it a title, set an expiry date, and share it via link, QR code, or your device's share sheet. Anyone can view the photos without signing up, and those who want to add their own shots just need a free WeTransfer account to upload. You stay in charge as the owner, with the ability to update the album details, set a cover image, and remove any file you choose.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
Sign in to your WeTransfer account, create a new album, and give it a name like the birthday person and the year. Set an expiry date, then share the album link with guests via message, QR code, or your phone's share sheet. Anyone with the link can view photos right away, and those who want to add their own just need a free WeTransfer account.
Yes. Contributors can upload from any device using a browser, as long as they have a free WeTransfer account. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, WebP, and more, so photos straight from an iPhone or Android camera upload without any conversion needed. Keep in mind that only one person can upload at a time, so contributions are added one after another rather than all at once.
As the album owner, you can delete any photo in the album, not just your own. Other members can only remove photos they uploaded themselves, and deletions are permanent for everyone. This means you can keep the collection tidy and remove anything that doesn't fit without having to ask the original uploader.
No account is needed to view the album. Anyone you share the link with can browse all the photos without signing up, making it easy to include relatives or friends who wouldn't bother with a new account. Only people who want to upload their own photos need a free WeTransfer account.
You choose the expiry date when you create the album. Set it far enough out to give everyone time to upload and download their favorites after the party. Once the album expires, it is no longer accessible, so picking a generous window is worth it, especially if guests are uploading over the days following the celebration.
