Collect and share group photos in one place

Sometimes you want to share a collection of personal photos with a chosen group, not post them publicly or wrestle with storage app permissions. WeTransfer lets you bundle every image into one transfer and hand out a link that works on any device, with no app to install and no account needed to view. Your photos travel exactly as they left your camera or phone: JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD, and RAW formats including DNG, NEF, ARW, CR2, and CR3 all arrive without any compression, re-encoding, or resolution loss. Anyone you invite can scroll through the full set in their browser, mark favourites, leave comments on individual shots, and download only the photos they actually want. For tighter privacy, you can lock the whole collection behind a password or limit access to a list of email addresses before you share the link.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Yes. When you create a transfer you can restrict access so only people whose email addresses you approve can open the link, or you can add a password that recipients must enter before viewing anything. Either option works on all plans and takes effect before you share the link, so the photos are never exposed to anyone outside your chosen group.

No account is needed to view or download. Recipients just open the link you send them, browse the full photo collection in their browser, and save whatever they want. You need a free account to send the transfer, but the people you share it with can access everything without signing up.

No quality is lost at any point. WeTransfer transfers files exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, resizing, or compression applied to your images. This applies to every format including JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD, and RAW files such as DNG, ARW, NEF, CR2, and CR3, so what recipients download is identical to what you uploaded.

Yes. Anyone with access to the transfer can open the in-browser preview, leave a comment on individual photos, and mark their favourites without downloading a thing first. You can enable or disable comments before sending, and you receive an email notification each time someone adds one. It is a straightforward way to gather reactions or let a group vote on which shots they love.

You can use WeTransfer's upload request feature to create a link that anyone can use to send photos directly to you. Share the request link with your group, and each person uploads their own shots. The files land in your account where you can review them, then bundle them into a single transfer to share back with everyone. A free account is required to upload files to a request.
