Collect and share group photos in one place

After a trip, the last thing you want is to split photos across texts, emails, and cloud folders that half the group can't open. WeTransfer lets you gather your whole collection into a single transfer and give everyone one link to browse at their own pace. Every format you shoot in, whether JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, PSD, or RAW files like ARW, NEF, DNG, CR2, and CR3, comes through without any compression or resolution loss. Viewers can scroll the full set in their browser, star their favorite shots, leave comments on specific images, and download only the ones they actually want. For trips shared with a tight group, you can lock the link with a password or restrict it to a list of specific email addresses before you send it out.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Upload your photos to WeTransfer and choose the link transfer option instead of email delivery. Once the upload finishes, you get a single shareable URL you can paste into a group chat, post on social media, or send by email. Anyone who receives it can open the full set in their browser, no account or app required, and there is no cap on how many people can access that link.

Yes. You can create an upload request and share the link with everyone on the trip, so each person can send their own photos directly to you. You get an email notification each time someone uploads, and all the files land in your account under the Received tab. Note that uploaders do need a free WeTransfer account to send files through a request.

No. WeTransfer sends files exactly as they are, with no re-encoding, no compression, and no resolution loss. RAW formats including ARW, NEF, DNG, CR2, and CR3 pass through unchanged, so photographers in the group receive the same full-quality files you shot on camera.

Yes. Recipients can browse the entire set in their browser without downloading anything first. They can scroll through each image in the preview, mark favorites, leave comments on individual shots, and then download only the specific photos they want rather than pulling the whole transfer at once. JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, and PSD files all support in-browser preview.

On a free account, transfers are available for up to 3 days from the moment they are sent. If you need the link to stay live longer, WeTransfer Ultimate lets you set a custom expiry or keep the transfer active indefinitely. You can also adjust the expiry date of an active transfer at any time from your Transfers panel.
