Collect and share group photos in one place
When you want to gather photos from a group, a shared album is simpler than endless file attachments or scattered cloud folders. WeTransfer Albums give everyone a single place to view and add photos and videos together. The owner creates the album, sets an expiry date, and keeps control over the content, while contributors can add their own shots and remove what they uploaded. Anyone with the link can view the album without signing up, so there is no barrier for people just browsing. Contributors need a free WeTransfer account to upload, keeping the album organized and accountable.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
No account is needed to view an album. Anyone you share the link with can browse the photos and videos right away. Only people who want to upload their own photos to the album need a free WeTransfer account.
Albums support the most common image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIF, TIFF, HEIC, and HEIF. For video, you can add MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV, and 3GP files. Documents, audio files, and archives are not supported in Albums.
Once you create an album and give it a title and expiry date, WeTransfer generates a shareable link. You can send that link via chat, email, or social media, share a QR code, or use the native share sheet on mobile. Anyone who receives it can open the album immediately.
Members can only delete photos they uploaded themselves. The album owner has broader control and can delete any file in the album, as well as edit the title, expiry date, and cover image. Deletions are permanent for everyone, so it is worth double-checking before removing anything.
The album owner sets an expiry date when creating the album and can update it later. Once the album expires it is no longer accessible to members, though the owner can adjust the date before that happens. There is no fixed maximum duration, so you choose what works for your group.
