Create your first WeTransfer album

Collect and share group photos in one place

Sharing photos with a group usually means juggling multiple tools, managing permissions, or watching quality disappear along the way. WeTransfer keeps it simple: add all your photos to a single transfer, share the link anywhere a group gathers, and everyone gets instant browser access to the full collection. Recipients can scroll through every image, see a preview of each one before saving, and download only the shots they actually want, whether that's one photo or the whole set. JPEGs, PNGs, HEICs, TIFFs, PSDs, and RAW formats including DNG, NEF, ARW, and CR2 are all supported, with no compression or re-encoding applied. You can also lock the transfer behind a password or restrict access to specific email addresses if you want to keep the album within your group.

FAQs

All your questions answered.

Everyone who opens the link can preview individual photos in their browser and download only the ones they want. There is no need to pull down the entire album to find a specific shot. Recipients can also leave comments on individual images and mark favorites, making it easy for a group to coordinate around the photos that matter most.

Create a link transfer by uploading your photos and clicking the link option instead of entering email addresses. The link works for any number of people, so you can paste it into a group chat, an email thread, a family message group, or a social post and everyone gets access from the same source. No recipient limit applies to link transfers.

Yes. WeTransfer sends files exactly as they were uploaded, with no re-encoding, resizing, or compression applied to the originals. That applies to everything from phone JPEGs and HEICs through to full-resolution TIFFs and RAW formats from digital cameras, so what the group receives matches what came straight out of the camera.

Free accounts support transfers up to 3 GB total per transfer, which covers a large collection of JPEGs or HEICs from a phone shoot. If you are working with RAW files, high-resolution TIFFs, or a very large event archive, WeTransfer Ultimate removes the per-transfer size cap entirely, so you can send the full album regardless of how large it grows.

WeTransfer's file request feature lets you create a link that anyone can use to send photos directly to you. Share it with everyone in the group and their uploads arrive in your account automatically. Once you have gathered all the contributions, you can bundle them into a single outgoing transfer and share the full collection back with the group.
