Collect and share group photos in one place
Downloading photos from a shared album should not require a tutorial, and with WeTransfer it does not. Every album is accessible through a single link, and anyone who receives it can browse the full collection straight from their browser without signing up. Before downloading, you can preview photos directly in the page, so you know exactly what you are getting. The album owner controls what stays in the collection and can update details like the title, cover image, and expiry at any time. When you are ready to contribute your own photos, creating a free WeTransfer account takes seconds.
Our features are designed to minimize how much of your data we — or anyone else — can access, so you can keep what's yours, yours.

All your questions answered.
No account is needed to view or download photos from an album someone has shared with you. Just open the link and the collection is there. You only need a free WeTransfer account if you want to upload photos of your own to the album.
Tap or click the link the album owner sent you and it opens directly in your browser, on any device. There is nothing to install. Albums work on mobile and desktop, so however you received the link, you can view the photos right away.
Yes. Photos in an album are viewable in your browser before you download anything, so you can browse the whole collection first. That way you can pick exactly which photos you want to save rather than downloading everything at once.
Albums support JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIF, TIFF, HEIC, and HEIF. If you want to add video clips alongside your photos, albums also support MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV, and 3GP. Other file types like PDFs or audio files are not supported in albums.
Yes, as long as you have a free WeTransfer account. Once you are signed in, you can upload photos to any album you have access to. Keep in mind that only one person can upload at a time, and you can only delete photos you added yourself. The album owner can remove any photo in the collection.
