We’re looking for nonprofits who have projects, initiatives, or events to set in motion. Sound like you? Have a peek at the checklist below to see if you flow with the fine print.
You’re a nonprofit headquartered in one of these cities: Atlanta, GA; Madison, WI; Norfolk, VA; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Honolulu, HI; San Antonio, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Nashville, TN; or Memphis TN
You’ve been in operation for more than one year from the application deadline
You can identify a specific event, activity, or project that you will use the funds for within the next 18 months
Your nonprofit’s mission relates to furthering the arts, culture, or creativity
You can demonstrate how your nonprofit supports underrepresented groups in the creative industries
Your nonprofit has at least one full-time employee

June 7th, 2022 at 23:59 EST—application deadline
June 13th, 2022—initial review by the panel of judges. Additional information may be requested.
June 20th, 2022—applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges
July 5th, 2022—applicants will be notified if they were accepted or not
July 19th 2022—recipients and value of grants announced

All applicants will be notified by July 5th, 2022 if they were accepted for the grant. Additional information may be requested by June 17th. See the timeline above for more important dates.
After applying, we may request additional information from you by June 17th, 2022. We’ll then review the applications again, and will notify you by July 5th whether yours has been chosen to receive funding.
We have a healthy pot of $100,000 to divvy up to 10-20 nonprofit organizations. Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 amounts.
We realize it’s a broad term—but we’re looking for nonprofits who further the output of creative work, education, or experiences. This can include design, music, publishing, architecture, film and video, crafts, visual arts, fashion, TV and radio, advertising, literature, computer games, and the performing arts. Please clearly identify a community whose needs are not being met, as well as your nonprofit’s role, tools, or resources that directly address that need. Be sure to include details about the community, such as who is in it, its background, and the role your nonprofit plays in supporting it.
